At the moment while finishing up reading Jonathan Rausch's Kindly Inquisitors I have a large essay im building up to that I want to encapsulate my political philosophy, but also how what we are seeing from the cultural excesses of the woke-left, progressive, ect is not only illiberal but is not even what it claims to be on other fronts: warriors for justice (unless you're x, y, z), progressive (only in this particular vein but not along these other tracks which could be progress) and more.
Its a messy thing to get around and while most of us who are in the weeds of all this for years have an intuition about it, pinning it down and really explaining it in terms that someone on the outside can understand is really important. Otherwise we just talk past each other using our own cultural bubble euphemisms to describe phenomenon that either makes no sense to others and at worse sounds like we're against positive sounding causes.
Beyond that I have a dozen smaller things I want to write on or talk about. For instance I want to revisit the Jordan Peterson / Cathy Newman interview, not for its entirety, but the attitude represented by the reporter and how that attitude has trickled down from journalists types to the average person. "What you're really saying is -this offensive thing i am against, not a potential nuanced position- "
Any particular insights from your perspective especially on these subjects are welcome for organizing thoughts and maybe see if there is something I am missing.
Edit:
Just remembered another project I really want to do: an essay /vlog (could pair them together or do one around the other) on the Late Night Comedian Infotainment.
It used to by fun and funny, Bill Maher and Jon Stewart and pre-trump Steven Colbert, but then it morphed into this post modern muck that can only be critical and never of their own positions. Its become a joke of itself.
Attempting to organize the show's I am able to tune into and cite the sources that are mentioned in the videos on multiple topics and then add additional details where relevant and i find them.
Mind Maps, just a few. I had the idea to create one on climate change after the Maui disaster and show with with the wonderful badass Jessica Rose (she is just such a pleasant human being I'd love to meet her one day). That is not ready to share yet. These two have developed enough to let some eyes on them. Certainly not finished.

Journal of Military and Strategic Studies is down for some reason (domain not repurchased) and this important essay appears to be missing. Was finally able to find it on the wayback machine but I attached the PDF to simplify matters.
